NE Convention 2009

Hotel Information
We have 2 hotels available for our convention. The Marriott Sable Oaks is where ALL activities will be. The Holiday Inn Express will be used as overflow, if needed. We may not even need the Holiday Inn Express but we decided to offer both for a few reasons.

The Marriott is strictly non-smoking; however the Holiday Inn Express has both smoking and non-smoking rooms.
The Holiday Inn Express rooms are all suites so they come equipped with a small kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator, dishes, & silverware).
The Holiday Inn Express is slightly cheaper if anyone would like to save money that weekend.

The 2 hotels are within walking distance of each other, about 700 feet apart. They are owned by the same company and provide a 24-hour shuttle between the 2 hotels. Both hotels have pools and health clubs and you are able to get room service (from the Marriott) at both hotels.

Most rooms at the Marriott have 1 king bed. They have a limited number of rooms with 2 double beds and will be first-come, first-serve, based on availability so please register early if you’d like to guarantee 2 double beds the Marriott. Once we fill these rooms at the Marriott we will give you the option of moving to the Holiday Inn Express or changing to 1 King.

As you may have noticed, we advertise our convention as starting on Thursday. We have entertainment starting Thursday night and activities planned all day on Friday. Your registration fee of $55 includes all entertainment and activities Thursday – Sunday. The room and meal packages are only for the usual Friday/Saturday lodging, Saturday breakfast/dinner, and Sunday breakfast. There are discounted room rates available for Thursday night (as well as 3 days prior/after the weekend) for $109/night. If you would like to stay additional nights, please let us know on your hotel form under the special requests section.

The hotel forms will be returned to the PHC of Maine as it states on the forms. Once we review and confirm, we will pass them onto the hotel to process. You will receive a confirmation from the hotel, either email or written, depending on if you include an email address on your hotel form.

There is a separate hotel form for each hotel so please be sure to use the form for the hotel you’d like to stay at.
